Club Policies
Boundary Youth Soccer Association believes that everyone involved in soccer has the right to participate in safe
and inclusive environments free of abuse, harassment, discrimination, and to enjoy the sport at whatever level or
capacity they participate in. The welfare of everyone involved in soccer is the foremost consideration and in
particular, the protection of children in the sport is the responsibility of everyone involved.
Exclusive to BYSA
*BYSA has embraced a 'no dogs on the field' policy during sanctioned games and tournaments. For the safety of our players, coaches, volunteers and spectators, and in respect for the school fields we are being allowed the use of, please make arrangements to leave your animals at home on game days. Even the most well mannered dogs can have a bad day. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
*For the safety of our players in U5 and up, shin guards and cleats are required for all games. If you require financial assistance in obtaining these pieces of equipment, please contact us.
*World wide, soccer is played rain or shine. Please refer to our weather polices below regarding extreme weather conditions and what type of weather events constitute cancelling practice or games (hint - rain is not one of them).
